Ffiliffest 2024 - June 8th
Ffiliffest was founded by Menter Caerffili as an annual summer festival which celebrates the Welsh language, local culture and heritage. Ffiliffest is a fun-packed day on the second weekend in June and is held on the Owain Glyndŵr Playing Fields in Caerphilly Town. There’s an opportunity for the whole family to enjoy a variety of activities through the medium of Welsh including live music, art and craft workshops, sports, stalls selling local produce and a huge folk dancing performance by local children. The festival is organised in partnership with many other organisations including Caerphilly C.B.Council, Arts Council for Wales, Head4Arts, Mudiad Meithrin, Cymraeg i Blant, Merched y Wawr, Papur Bro CwmNi and many other community organisations.
